Planting & Care Guide

• When to Plant: Direct-sow outdoors in the spring after all danger of hard frost has passed and soil temperatures begin to warm. Alternatively, for a spectacular head start, you can scatter the seeds in late autumn; they will lay dormant through the winter freeze and burst out of the ground with incredible vigor at the very first sign of spring.

• Seeding Depth: Very shallow (1/8 inch maximum). Wildflower seeds are a mix of shapes and sizes, and many require light to trigger germination. Rake your planting area completely clean of weeds and grass, loosen the top inch of dirt, scatter the seeds evenly, and walk or press over the soil gently to secure them without burying them deep.
